Project Overview
This retreat cabin in southwest Montana serves as a peaceful escape for a busy couple who split their time between states. The goal of this design-only project was to elevate the home’s comfort and style through thoughtful, cosmetic updates—focusing on new window coverings and fresh furnishings to enhance how the home feels and functions, especially when hosting family.
Working primarily virtually with a few site visits, we guided the client through selections for layered window treatments, lighting, furnishings, and soft goods. We used mood boards and visual concepts to help bring their vision to life while honoring the cabin’s rustic setting. With a warm mix of natural textures, rich tones, and practical upgrades like new blinds, lighting, and workspace zones, the cabin is now a refreshed, cozy landing place that fits their lifestyle and guests.
